Abia govt begins investigation into alleged vandalism of Health Centre

Abia State government has inaugurated an investigation committee to unravel the allegations of vandalism of the Agburuezeukwu Health Centre, Umuezegu, Isiala Ngwa North LGA.

A statement by Navy Commander MacDonald Ubah RTD, Special Adviser to the Governor on Security said a high-powered committee has been mandated to conduct a comprehensive and impartial investigation to establish the facts surrounding the incident and to make appropriate recommendations.

“The Office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor wishes to inform the general public that a high-powered Investigation Committee has been inaugurated to thoroughly investigate the allegations of vandalism of the Agburuezeukwu Health Centre, Umuezegu Nsulu, in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area.

The Committee has been mandated to conduct a comprehensive and impartial investigation to establish the facts surrounding the incident and to make appropriate recommendations.

Members of the public who have credible and useful information that may assist the Committee in the course of its assignment are hereby encouraged to come forward. Such information may be submitted in person to the Office of the Security Adviser to the Governor at Government House, Umuahia, or contact Mr Emmanuel Ogbuehi on 08035812000

The Abia State Government appreciates the cooperation of the public as it remains committed to protecting public assets and ensuring that anyone found culpable is brought to justice.
